Parque Cuscatlán’s Infographics and Illustrations for IMAGINA project by USAID-Glasswing International

REPRESENTING THE CUSCATLAN CULTURE

Cuscatlán in náhuatl means “Land of beautiful things or places”. This park is one of the most popular parks in El Salvador and one of the largests. It’s located just a few blocks from the historic city center in San Salvador.

In order to promote social integration, equality, the right to the city and the need for accessible public spaces for citizens, Cuscatlán Park was remodeled between December 22, 2017 and September 17, 2019.

For this project we wanted to reignite their infographic content, by giving it a new life and identity we created a visual system that is inviting and user friendly. That way their users can easily identify and learn new things by reading these bite-sized informational content.

We created an engaging and easy to understand infographic design

This content can be easily scaled for future applications and uses, such as: print, video and web. It was shared in the Parque Cuscatlan’s social media channels and has had significant impact on user retainability and interaction, also they find it easier to understand more complex topics such as the 30 km/h Zone, the park’s history, How to visit the park with pets, and many others.

Thanks for checking out the project. You can also view it on Behance :)
